My name is Mr. Darcy, and I am a 5 year old Toy Poodle which many of you have probably already seen wandering around the hallways, lounging in the library, hanging out in the staff room, sitting on a student’s lap in class, taking a walk with one of many friends outside, or snoozing on the comfy couch in the Resource Room. I come very well-educated and qualified for the position of School Therapy Dog, as I have faithfully attended all classes at JKCS for the last four years , plus have assisted in several counselling sessions with my friends in the Counsellor’s office because one of my talents is demonstrating extreme sensitivity and caring, plus a deep, profound understanding of their needs. Yet, I have to admit that I also am a bit nervous and will shy away from loud people, as they trigger post-traumatic stress disorder and memories of my first year of life when I was severely abused. I look forward to working at Carver Christian High School and thank you very much for accepting me into your school community with open arms. Woof for now!!

I like the innate challenge of this verse; it means "get off the fence"; it's a reminder that if we are lukewarm, God will "spit us out of His mouth" (Revelations).
