Growing up on Gabriola Island, I grew to love and appreciate the amazing beauty of the natural world God created. I have always loved observing and learning about different animals, and this led me to pursue a science degree in at UBC. I continued my education by completing a BEd in the concentration of middle school also at UBC.
After a number of years tutoring at a Sylvan Learning Centre, I was fortunate to be called to teach art and science at Vancouver Christian School. Last year, I taught my first class as a homeroom teacher. My own education was through the public school system, and I have loved working in a Christian community that openly shares a love for God. I am excited to begin teaching at Carver to continue to grow as a Christian educator
