I grew up in Ecuador, surrounded by tropical rainforests, active volcanoes, and the Galapagos Islands. My interest in Science led me to move to Vancouver to study at UBC and my volunteer work at Church allowed me to realize that I enjoyed working with youth. I hope that my students are able to appreciate the beauty and order in God’s creation as we study Math and Science together.
I love teaching at Carver because we have the freedom to pray for each other daily. We can talk about God as we study Math and Science, and learn about how He has created beauty and order in His creation. My Spanish students learn a new language and culture, but they also prepare to serve others on an outreach trip to Costa Rica.
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
