It was when I started coaching at Carver that I knew teaching was for me. I started coaching as a college student and then continued even after I graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Bachelor of Education. I was a teacher on call at Carver and the public school system before I decided to make the jump overseas and teach at a BC offshore school in South Korea. It was there where I was able to discover and improve myself personally and professionally as a teacher and as a follower of Christ. I was in South Korea for two years and have experienced so much more than I expected. One of the reasons I decided to move abroad was the urge to travel and to see and experience different cultures. In my two years in Korea was able to visit eight different countries, meet countless different people and create memorable experiences. Now, I look forward to creating community here and making lasting memories.
