Mr. Aaron Gysbers

It’s September 2015 so I am going into my fifth year of teaching at Carver. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Redeemer University in Hamilton, Ontario. I earned my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia.

I love working in the math and science department, because I love exploring and studying the world that God has made. It is my hope and prayer that the students that we teach here at Carver will leave with a greater appreciation for the world around us and a desire to learn even more about it in the future. The Bible tells us that “The Earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,” Psalm 24:1, and so I feel that as we study the world around us, we are learning more about God.

I myself have been shaped by Christian education from kindergarten through post-secondary schooling. I feel that it has been invaluable to me, and I hope to pay forward the knowledge and love of Christ that was so formative to me.
