I graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and with a Bachelor of Education. I taught in Melbourne, Australia as a casual relief teacher and I have taught a short English curriculum to underprivileged students in Longzhou, China. In 2013, I was employed with John Knox Christian School before coming to Carver Christian High School. As a teacher in a Christian school, I can serve God by building up a younger generation seeking to follow Jesus, disciplined in prayer and eager to serve. Although we all have a different calling, we are all called to serve God and to serve one another in love just as Jesus did. May we always put the focus back on God in everything we do.
While I was living in Australia, I discovered my love for traveling and made it my goal to travel every year to at least one new city. The world is filled with astonishing new discoveries and lifetime opportunities of learning. Over the years, I have been to over fifteen countries and flown over 100,000 miles; that is equivalent to a little over four times around the world. I look forward to what adventure awaits me next.
