Charla Dragomir

Over the past 12 years, I have worked as a Mental Health Worker (MHW) with adult clients with behavioral, social, mental health and concurrent disorders. Working with clients with mental health disabilities taught me to be compassionate, non-judgmental, to support clients in their recovery and to believe that each individual has the capacity for learning and growth. Before working as a MHW, I worked as a Rehabilitation Assistant/Recovery Gymnastic Assistant with special needs children in Romania and Germany for 13 years. Working with special needs children was really rewarding for me because I was able to witness their growth and be part of their progress and achievements. I am thankful for this opportunity that was given to me to work as a Special Education Assistant at Carver Christian High School because I have a passion for supporting children to learn new skills and to overcome challenges.
